Run With Heart 5K

This February 20, 2027, celebrate American Heart Month by joining the Compress and Shock Foundation for our second annnual Run with Heart 5K, starting at 11am at River's Edge in Roanoke! This walk/race is supported by HCA Virginia and Lewis Gale Medical Center and will honor cardiac arrest survivors and remember victims. The Compress and Shock Foundation is a Roanoke, VA based 501-c-3 non-profit dedicated to providing free CPR and AED education to all with a specific dedication to those communities most likely to suffer an adverse outcome from out of hospital cardiac arrest due to race, ethnicity, language spoken, or lack of healthcare resources. Since 2017, the Compress and Shock Foundation has trained over 22,000 learners and placed over 440 AEDs into communities in need at NO COST to these groups.
