Our community outreach efforts span an array of opportunities from the West End walks to community clean-ups. Check it out and feel free to join us!
Summer 2023
West End Walks
Join us for up to four dates this summer (6/20, 7/5, 7/18, 8/1) when we walk from West End Center to the Grandin Theater- approximately two miles round-trip. Adult volunteers walk with West End Center students to the theater and are welcome to stay for the featured movie (and popcorn!). Email training@runaboutroanoke.com to learn more!

Badge Buddies
Looking for a way to get back to running or simply give back while working on your health? We need adults of all fitness levels to accompany our West End Center students and members of Roanoke City police and sheriff's department as they train for the annual West End Center Spooky Sprint 5K at the end of October. Training begins June 2023 and meetings will be held at 9:30am on Wednesdays at Vic Thomas Park (behind Black Dog Salvage). Email training@runaboutroanoke@gmail.com to learn more.

Spring Bling Fashion Show and Silent Auction- May 7, 2023
Brunch for a great cause with us- all proceeds from both brunch ticket sales and silent auction winning bids benefit the West End Center for Youth! This event is their largest non-running fundraiser of the year, so we need your support filling brunch tables and of course having lots of fun! We are proud participants of the fashion show, so get some entertainment with your tasty brunch and join us!

Hustle for the Homeless 5K Aid Station- Saturday, May 20, downtown Roanoke (aid station located at St. Andrew's Catholic Church parking lot).
