Summer Speed Series
Our annual FREE Summer Speed Series is for all levels and paces for runners to help improve their own speed. Focus of the sessions will be on shorter distance running. Sessions will begin as virtual workouts but eventually move to in-person. This 10-week training schedule begins June 1 and will *hopefully* be able to end with our final time trial at the Martinsville Speedway Mile on Saturday, August 15th, 2020 or several local 5k races in August 2020.
DATES: June 1-August 15, 2020
TIMES: Virtual running workouts until further notice- complete weekly workouts on your own; We will update this page when we are able to resume in-person workouts which typically take place Mondays at 6:30pm and Tuesdays at 9:30am over the summer months.
LOCATIONS: Utilize what resources you have around you for the moment, whether it be a local track or your neighborhood block! If we are able to meet before the end of the training cycle, sessions will be held at Hidden Valley High School track.
